I found this buck dead in the middle of the creek below my house. I took some video of him but after I got home I realized I never pushed record on the camera. I will post another picture of the buck when I get home.

I am in Central MT. You are allowed to take the horns off an animal if it died of natural causes, except for Big Horn sheep and MT goat I believe. Also, MT just passed a law allowing people to pick up road kill animals but the state is still trying to work out the details on how that is going to work. Essentially if someone wants to take the horns of road kill they will have to take the entire animal.

I've seen that happen in western ND, took out 90% of the WT deer population in the area we hunt.
