Does anyone have experience with the guide pro work pants? I have the guide pros already but the work version with reinforced thigh and seat looks like it would be great for the thick areas I hunt.

Could be a cheap alternative to first lite sawbucks maybe?

Does anyone have any firsthand experience comparing these to the first lite or kuiu alternatives?
Exactly what I was hoping to hear. It doesn't seem like they are very popular though. Should have just bought a pair a few weeks ago when they were 50% off.

I ordered a pair to try. LOVE my Guide Pro's but they aren't a real durable pant. Hoping the double covering of these helps in the Outdoors.

I ordered a pair today. I also have FL sawbucks so I will see how they compare. I love the sawbucks but I wish they had more pockets.

At least its something else to try. Only problem I forsee is that the double covering on the front does not run all the way down. They are still going to get chewed up down low. I do wish the Sawbucks had a slash pocket on each side, otherwise they are great. Well that and no hip vents, still can't understand why they have not got on the wagon with that.

They say it's to reduce failure points. But they don't warranty anything anyways.

Wearing them right now. Not sure how much morw durable they are than the regular, but worth a shot. They feel a little more stiff like jeans but still have good stretch. Haven’t had them real long but if you like the other versions, you will like these.

And double panel only runs down past the knee, but shouldnt be any worse for wear than the normal guide pro.

@Bigboone1988 any update? I have an opportunity to pick up a pair of sawbucks at a good price but the guide pro work pants are still nearly half the price.

I like both pairs of pants but if you want a pair solely for busting brush I would go with the sawbucks. Both fit similar but the sawbucks have a thicker material that stands up to brush better. EB's also have cargo pockets which I wish the sawbucks had.

When it's warmer out I have been going with the EB and colder hunts I switch over to FL

EB second layer doesn't do all the way down to your boots, great for wearing with rubber boots tho
