Looking to pick up an EDC knife since I have a gift card to Bench Made. Little overwhelming with how many choices are out there. I’ve been looking at the Bench Made Osborne and Grizzly Creek. GC seems more oriented for hunting but it appears it could be quite versatile. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I'm partial to the Osborne, but have not held the GC. My EDC for work has been a Bugout that was free. I like it fine, it's light and thin but the thin scales can be uncomfortable in use. The blade shape is similar to the GC.

I've been carrying a mini-griptillian for years. I upgraded my old one about a year ago to get a 20CV blade. If the mini seems to small to you, then I recommend the regular sized griptillion. I like the drop point blade and the handle shapes are perfect for me.

I lost my Mini Grip green handle with black blade that I had been carrying for over a decade. It must have slipped out of my pocket at my backpack elk camp....dang I liked that knife. It's probably under 3' of snow right now.

I went to the mini Bugout S30v dark handle with black blade......BUT

I should have gone to the Orange handle....never a bad idea, IMO.

The bugout is the the best benchmade EDC IMO. Might be the best EDC knife period, but I also love spyderco delicas. Not the fanciest knives in the world, but you don’t cry if you loose them.

I have about 20 different benchmades. I currently carry a full size claymore daily and an adamas auto when in the outdoors. The freek is a great knife too. Love how it fits my hand.

I am a big fan of the 940-2. I like G10 scales and the open back. I also really like the bugout, but again with G10 scales.

very happy with the griptillian over the last decade, although the plastic has been pretty eroded form opening beer bottles.

although these days I carry a leatherman skeletool, very rarely need a bigger blade

ZT 0450 or Hogue Deka here.

I like the mini Freek as an EDC. The regular Bugout is nice too - so light but doesn't seem as robust as the Freek.
The Barrage is nice if you the assisted open feature.

I love the Bugout series. I have a couple of the full sized and a couple minis. They are light and thin. Hold an edge good

Really depends on YOU and what ya use it for

I have all diff lengths and sizes (all benchmade).

Best if you can go handle some OR see in store at a min

Then - once you know blade length and handle length / width - you can order online and prob have more of a selection.
