Eberlestock Warhammer and G1 little brother feedback

I have a friend looking at the Eberlestock Warhammer and G1 Little brother for packs for bow hunting. Would like to hear any feedback on pack and frame. Though it might be a touch on the heavy side. *8lbs, 8 oz. Would use smaller G1 little brother for hunts. Thoughts? Alternatives.?

I have several Eberlestock packs which I love as day packs. They are heavy but are bomb proof and very versatile. If you are tall / long torso they don’t hall a lot of weight very well. I also have an older USA made Mystery Ranch for hauling heavier loads. That being said I still prefer the versatility of a lot of Eberlestock packs for day hunting. Get what works for you. By the way you will get flamed by some people just for asking about Eberlestock packs on here.

The 1 thing I did was swap out the original shoulder straps for a set of the thicker ones they offer, made the Warhammer a hell of a lot nicer with weight in it. I really like the Eberlestock tactical packs for most things, especially weapons carry!! I've ran a Mystery Ranch and Kifaru, neither fit me as well as the Eberlestock. Now I'm running a Stone Glacier which so far I'm really liking!!
