Looks like a great arrow, I just switched to carbon injexions for late season hunts and have been really impressed with them. I'm sure the FMJ version should perform even better.

Lancaster is showing easton fmj injections on their website. They say they don't ship till jan. 20th. They are only showing a 330 spine and up. Lots of rumors if they are going to offer a 300 or 280 spine????

I would shoot them for my moose and bison hunt but there isn't a deep 6 broadhead I like.

See the comments by Darin Cooper, you can use the VAP outserts in them and shoot any broadhead you like.

Yup you could use the adapter like Coop/Jmez says...I have shot the injextions all summer and found really good flight and bullet proof design with the Quad exodus deep six fixed blade broadhead. I like the full blade style. Great head.

I really want to shoot this arrow, I've been shooting FMJs for years and love the performance, but if they don't make them in anything stiffer than a 330 I don't think I'll be able to. Hopefully they get this figured out.

I'm done shooting the 330 spine injextion. At my DL I have to shoot 63lbs to spine correctly. I really would be pumped if they offer the 300 spine. If not then I will look into Vap's or go back to a axis

What are your bow specs VCB?

I've been shooting the new Muzzy Trocar D6 on my Injexions. Phenomenal broadhead. Super sharp and tunes like a dream.

Hey OR,

Im shooting a CPXL, 63lbs, 29 draw, 330's cut to 27" raw shaft, 100 grain up front, just blazers on the back. When I dump that all into "the archery program" it spines perfectly. However, if I increase my DW to 68-70lbs like I want to shoot it spines super weak. I have these injextions cut as short as I can....broadhead is just in front of drop away at full draw...I cut them super short to try and get the stiffest spine I could. Only shooting 100 grain with no additional weight up front..If I went to the 70lbs..my numbers show I need a stiffer shaft than 330. Is that what you show too?

I wouldn't personally recommend you to shoot a 300. The 330's should tune just fine even at a 29" cut. I would think at 27" cut and 63# they would be a bit on the stiff side with a 100gr tip.

Without looking at the bow and watching you shoot it its hard to say why exactly you would be a getting a left tear ie weak spine with that arrow at 70#. I'd just be speculating.

From what I have been told, there was a last minute decision to make a .280 like Coop said...but that decision was subsequently reversed, and at least for now, there will not be one.

Don't go off numbers, go off
Results, do your arrows group?? Are you happy with flight, bareshafts tune, walk back and broadhead tuned? Especially with 100's up front I dont see how you can be so underspined that they dont tune up at those specs

agreed. It tunes beautifully at 63lbs. Bullet hole. I will bump the poundage and tune again. True about a 300 spine...I would have to go to a 125 head and longer arrow to get that stiff shaft to look right with the numbers. Thanks!

I read on AT that the .280 spine DS FMJ is back off the drawing board? Said it was going to be done then a decision was made to scrap it.

Does anyone know if they are making the .390 spine in the specs posted at the start of the thread or did they change to a .400? If .400 what will the GPI be?

A 330, 400, 460 and I believe if memory serves me right it was in the 9. something range on the 400's.
