Put a tape to him last night. Scores right at the 300" mark. Not a giant, but a fantastic bull that I am very happy to have taken.

Packs - I picked up a Kifaru Bikini with a T2 bag. Keith got a Horn Hunter full curl.
I think mine performed a little better. On our last load with the hind quarters, we couldn't get the load balanced in Keith's pack very well. It was shifted to the left and we couldn't get it to straighten out. Not sure that was a pack problem, those hind quarters were stretching the limits of those packs, but it made it a little uncomfortable for him.
Great story. Congrats on the elk, a true alberta beast! I'm out again this weekend on my second attempt to get a bull, hoping its near as good as yours!
