Nov 18, 2024 #1 TimeOnTarget Lil-Rokslider Joined Jul 29, 2015 Messages 176 I found these bugs in the ears of the mule deer I shot this weekend. Both ear canals were almost completely blocked with them. Prob 8-10-12 in each ear with wax. Anyone know what they are and how they affect deer?

He also had a drooping ear, I’m not sure if the mites were the cause of it. Having those things in your ear canal would be enough to drive a guy bonkers. They sure are some tough critters!
