Scouting for a hunt really is a function of time and money. Everyone loves to scout for a hunt, but not everyone lives close to the hunt unit, has a lifestyle allowing ample scouting time, or has the financial independence to aggressively scout before a hunt. I don’t know…. I read so many threads from guys who E scouted until they were cross eyed and then barely saw an animal. E scouting helps form theories. Educated guesses. Nothing more. Boots on the ground or word of mouth from actual experience are the only things worth betting preference points on.

I’m pretty good at E scouting but I’ve hunted areas that had it all and looked like a dream only to find nothing. One thing you can’t e scout is pressure and predators.
