E Scouting Bears

What does everyone look for while trying to E-Scout for Bears in the spring. I have all the apps on X, Google earth just struggle to find good bear areas in the past. Looking for some advice.

If you’re talking spring bears, then simply look for southern aspects that would be food sources during green up.

As soon as the rest of the area greens up you’ll see bears spread out though and go to a home range or keep up with the fresher grass(move down or other side of Mountian).

Fall black bear hunting is entirely different. They are typically very food specific until about early to mid October. Then they become very opportunistic again.

I use google earth almost entirely. Be aware that places will look much different when you get there however. Have a plan B, C, and D. As well as access plans for all the above. South facing slopes and timber cuts
