E-Bike (DIY direct Order)

I'm thinking of doing same thing with a hard tail I have. Same motor you bought.

How did everything workout for you? Would you do anything different; choose different motor, etc...?

It works great for what it is. Although to be honest, if I could get all the money I put into the ebike back to use for another dirt-bike I would. I bought a crf250f after the ebike that I am in love with. I rode that this year while my son used the e-bike for his elk hunt. The range on the e-bike limits it for anything other than day use. I bought a second battery for it, but they are expensive and a pain.

Thanks for the info. I've been debating a dirt bike as well- probably a dual sport so it can legally go on non-OHV and OHV-only roads.

What range do you get on your setup when there's a decent amount of climbing? (Your setup is exactly the one I am considering: Bafang 1000 w motor + 52V 20AH battery)
