Do you guy leave your dust caps on your binos in your chest pouch? Fronts and back?

or do you remove them and trust the chest pouch to protect and keep clean?

Never use them. I store them way in the original box (just in case I sell the binos down the road).

I try to keep the covers on both end in case I get junk in my bino harness, but the bottoms want to come off when I'm pulling binos out. So sometimes I'm both, but I always at least keep the tops on.

I am OCD when it comes to glass. It bothers me when dust or smudges end up on the glass. i am trying not to be anal because i will be that guy that runs the coatings off, so I leave the covers on. I also had twigs and other stuff in bottom so...

Caps on both ends for me too. My lenses are still in perfect condition and my binos are over 10 years old

No caps for me. I go in and out of the harness to frequently to want to fiddle with them. I due use caps and a pouch on my spotter, but it does not go in and out as frequently as the bino's.
