Duck hunt/fly fishing combo somewhere?

Hey all,
I’m wondering if I could find a place with decent fly fishing and duck hunting at the same time this Fall. Any suggestions?

St Maries Idaho, Ennis Montana, Panguitch Utah, Roosevelt Arizona, Whitehall Montana, The Pacific coast in california, oregon , washington, alaska, Colville, Washington, Texas gulf coast, dolores colorado, probably somewhere in N Dakota, Creede Colorado, The Flathead, Bonners Ferry Idaho, Lower Rio Grande in New Mexico near elephant butte, Flagstaff Arizona, Yellowstone park if your sneaky, Down on the frisco, Rifle colorado, Hauser, Holter, and Land of the Giants, Probably a few other places i missed...hope this helps

The Bighorn Mountains are a great place to do this.

I was talking to my steelhead guide a few weeks ago. He likes fly fishing, and salmon are running during duck season, and he told me he has done “cast and blast” trips in the past. What state were you looking at doing?

You’ll probably find something in Texas. Good red fishing around Rockport and also duck hunting on the bay.

Redfish is a good entry to salt water fly fishing.

Driftless area of NE Iowa. Definitely a unique area of the midwest where you could chase browns and rainbows. Then you could hunt redheads, canvasbacks, goldeneyes, and puddle dgoldeneye, backwaters of Pool 9 of the Mississippi. Late Oct or early Nov would be my suggestion.
