I will be in Southeastern North Dakota in mid Oct and looking to duck hunt for a couple of days. Any guide suggestions? Do not need lodging, just looking for a guide for a couple of days. Thanks,

Not many outfitters in the SE part of the state to begin with, nevermind operating in that part of the state during mid october; but you could check with SG Outfitters, The Candy Shop, Prairie Pothole Lodge. If they aren't booking in that part of the state during that time frame you may at least get a recommendation to a different outfitter. If your goal is to just shoot ducks though, drop ship a dozen mallard floaters, a mojo, and waders and just hunt public or knock on doors. SE ND birds in mid october are a mix of pressured local ducks and calendar migrators. If your dates are around Oct 16th through the 19th, be prepared to see an influx of non resident hunters in the state, as that's a 4 day weekend for MN schools and a lot of MN residents hunt ND over the long weekend, so public could be more pressured.

Agreed with spur60, look at PLOTS land, non-posted land. Doz deeks & a mojo will get it done.

Thanks for the information. The issue I have is time. In this case I would rather pay a guide than waste a day trying to locate a spot. Plus I will be flying to the area. Just looking for a guide not lodging, meals, etc.
