Well I figured out what I think will work for me. The triangles are just too low for me. So I attached a female buckle on one of the open strap loops on each side of the frame, a few inches above the triangle. Then I attached a male buckle to the top 3bar sliders on the grab it straps. Snap buckles together and I think it will work well that way. Thanks all.

I have also made it like that.
Right now I have moved the female buckle all the way to the top of the frame just to not have to use the extra lash straps.
It works like it was intended with the triangle's at the middle of the frame, but if you're carrying odd items It sometimes work better to attach the straps higher.
