None, 4831sc shot plenty well so I rolled with it. I have RL23 and H1000 which would have been my next two to try had 4831sc not worked. What powders did you test besides 4831?

I'll be shooting some groups with 41.5 gr 6.5 staball soon. Hit pressure at 42.5. Getting 3040 fps out of a new 16" barrel suppressed. I'll probably try 4831sc also though.Anyone else dabble in the 22cm with 79 Terminal Shock?
Have a barrel inbound with the intent to only shoot the 79 here in CA.

I ditched the 6 creed after last season. Looking back at my notes, I settled on 42.5gr H4350 with an mv of about 2950. I don't remember why I chose H4350 over RL16, but I think I was getting a little better mv with less pressure. Never got great groups -- best was 1.6ish".@cubdriver84d what did you end up with loads on the 95 DRT in the 6 Creed? Did you find H4350 or RL16 worked better? Going to load up some and see how they compare to my LRX loads.
I loaded some up quickly for a mule deer hunt - very effective, deer didn't take a step and was seemingly dead before it hit the ground. Shot was taken at 289 yards. I should be able to get some more speed as I didn't even work up a load, just went right above book minimum for another 95gr bullet. Lot of empty case at this amount, but it shot decent enough for me and I have a lot of this powder Have an elk hunt coming up and not sure what I'm going to take on that one. Really like this rifle and the lack of recoil, but despite the evidence worried about an elk with the 95gr bullet.@cubdriver84d thanks for the info. Anyone else out there shooting the 95 is 6CM?

2995mv average with 43gr of Staball 6.5 with a new 23" barrel - barrel has 11 shots through it.
Unfortunately no I do not. Was too focused on getting it drug out and then taken care of forgot to take picture. I'll say that it was effective enough up until then I was not even thinking of taking the combo for elk, but now I'm trying to convince myself it's acceptable.Any pics of the damage?

Whatever rifle you shoot the best is the one to take.Assuming that’s aiming a bit behind the crease and 3/4 down. Logically it works, just that slight twinge of “should I go with a heavier bullet”. This one is guided so not sure what the outfitter would think showing up with it. From both my ballistic calculators it is good to 550 yards with margin and the chances of me taking a 500 yard shot are slim.
What type of groups were you getting with that load?2995mv average with 43gr of Staball 6.5 with a new 23" barrel - barrel has 11 shots through it.
Hard to answer as I shot one 6 shot group. Was right around 1.5" and I'm a terrible shot off a bench where that was done. I'll update with a new load when I have some more time, hopefully going to the forest next weekend and can do a better load development. What type of groups were you getting with that load?
