I need to get another reservoir and have used the dromedary but was looking at the dromlite to keep in my daypack in some areas with little to no water. Anyone have good experience with them? Are they as durable as the dromedary? How about taste? I’ve read mixed reviews on that but most seem to say they are plenty durable.

Go dromlite, it's plenty durable. The only use-case for the dromedary is if you are going to strap it to the back of your motorcycle or something.

I had a similar question about taste, but I've noticed no off-putting taste from my dromlite.

I'd go druomlite any day unless you plan to drop it off a cliff. We have both, and honestly for hunting applications I'd always go with dromlite to save weight.

Your talking a couple ounces. I’ll take the durability for a 2 ounces in the 6l variety.

I have an old 2l drom lite, still tougher than other brands.
