Currently in north central MN waiting for the wind and rain to stop. We're about 2 hours north of Minneapolis, MN at the family farm where my mom grew up. Have all kinds of trail cams out up here and the biggest deer on cam so far is a ok'ish 8pt that I let walk opening day. Meanwhile, back in the heart of Minneapolis, a mile from downtown, this guy is chilling 2 blocks from my house.
TBH this is a pic from last year during gun season, but he's been out two seasons in a row chasing does that come from Theodore Wirth Park and eat from birdfeeders in the neighborhood. Curious to see if he's around/gotten bigger, kinda think last year was his peak year but I've also not seen anything close to this big where we hunt.
What do you think this deer scores?
