I own a safe full (at least 12) Leupold
Scopes and not a single one has had to go back.
You're a lucky man and not typical. I have exactly one Leupold that has tracked and held zero over 40 years of owning many various models from them. Most failed to hold zero after riding in the truck in a padded case. I have to drive washboard roads to get about anywhere I hunt so what good is a scope that you can't count on to handle that even in a big Pelican case? I like many really wish they would build one that I could have faith in but after too many failures with too many of them I quit.

Let’s face it. They’re a less shit on version of vortex because they’re made in America.

They both have their issues, both dump a TON of money into sponsors that pimp their product, but vortex has a way better warranty, night and day better. For that reason I’ll take vortex every day over leupold.
Choosing between only those 2 options sounds like a Devil's bargain to me.
