I’d keep an eye on this. Don’t tolerate any of it. Dog fights are not fun and are almost always preventable. I got bit pretty good a couple years ago breaking up a fight in camp that never should have happened.

I broke up a fight as well and ended up with stitches on my forearm. Great around humans, but has shown serious aggression towards other dogs. Bitten two dogs that needed medical attention for stitches. She’s been exposed to thousands of other dogs as a puppy. I just find it weird at 3 that she is showing aggression. Actually meeting up with the breeder for an evaluation.

That would have been fitting. We named him Rye. We also have a Bavarian Mountain hound named Bourbon.

Good looking dog there. I love watching them retrieve quail. My oldest just about has the whole bird in his mouth. Some good looking pups in this thread. Hope others get involved with them, great breed.

If I ever got anything but a lab it would be one of these. Nice looking and good working dogs.
