Man, that's fact. Hunting in Colorado, both archery at times and always rifle for 30 years, no time to go in the field worry about ounces. If you're worried about ounces it's not for you.

This past summer some folks from Texas showed up in southern Colorado in the summer, and got caught above tree line. Dang near lost their lives. Cost thousands and thousands of dollars and others put their lives at risk to get their inadequate butts out of there. Their first words were, "but it was so hot in Texas. We didn't think we needed anything warmer".

I think you made a good call especially for $50. I always think about it from the perspective of if I was demobilized and had to sit out there over night would I want a puffy. Makes a good pillow if nothing else.
