Indeed it is a privilege, not a right. However, the Supreme Court Ruled it's entrapment if they don't disclose the when and where of when these checkpoints will go down. That's why it especially irked me that they then sought to illegally attain the same means by coming up with this BS excuse of a "voluntary smog check" thing. All acting like they don't think we're looking...Pffft.Whoa..... those poor drunk drivers being entrapped by LEO’s not posting where their sobriety check points will be held. My heart goes out to them.
