Anyone use or have tried the vortex doubler? Just curious if the hold clarity or distort clarity?

If they are anything like the Swaro's they are good for a paper weight, at best...

Have to agree with Bucksnort. Try one before you buy it or make sure you can return it if you dont like it.

x2 on above...the swaro one was useless as a doubler, and if they can't get it right, I doubt anyone else can.

I have the Vortex Doubler... will it replace my spotter NO... will it be on every trip I dont want to pack my spotter YES.

I will post some pics tonight,,, I like it better than the Swaro because it just slips on over eye piece.

One thing most don't think about/realize is that although it doubles the magnification it also reduces the field of view and cuts down on the brightness. Just something to think about if you are planning on using one.
