I am very unsure. I have never had an IQ level that can even be remotely considered in the realm of nerd, so this is a whole new territory for me. Quite frankly, its terrifying.

I think you may be equating nerd status to intelligence. I am not doing that. I think you guys are nerding out on chips, and I say that to imply that chips are not worthy of a discussion (fully acknowledging that I let myself get sucked into this abomination of a thread). For some comparisons, I've seen people on forums nerd out over types of font used in graphic design or print, and ribbon boards at stadiums, that sort of thing. Chips are right in that zone of so irrelevant who cares, and if one wastes their time debating chips, it only serves to demonstrate one's valuation of their time.

When I was a kid I used to put tater chips on my bologna sandwich with wonder bread and dill pickles. I’m far too sophisticated for that now.

Now it would be a gourmet grilled cheese. Artisan multi grain organic fair trade humanely raised bread, cave aged Gruyère cheese from a monestery in Switzerland where everyone has pure thoughts, organic sustainably sourced small batch butter made by Guatemalan virgins. I don't know about everybody else, but I'm getting paid to debate chips, along with 95% of my other Rokslide participation. If people are choosing to "hang out" here when they could be doing literally anything other than wasting time at work that's a different story.
