Breaking Bad vs The Sopranos

I just went to look where I can stream The Wire, and apparently you can't right now, I would have to buy each season.

Need a new show to watch in cardio at the gym every morning. In case anyone has a hard time staying on a machine for an hour every day (I get bored) I find a good series to watch and it helps me stay on.

Edit: looks like True Detective is on Hulu. Im going to give that a shot here in a few minutes.

Very true! I loved the first season and the 2nd season bombed. Not even sure how many seasons were made after that.

Vikings was a good show too. Kinda got old near the end but it was well done.

Season two wasnt even bad compared to season one. Which I would understand, since those are big shoes to fill. It just flat out sucked. How you can manage that after season one is beyond me. I will say, season three and four are very good. Nothing comes close to the first season but they definitely got things back on track.

Edit. I'm case anyone is interested, this is a show where each season is it's own story. Nothing tying them together. Similar to Fargo or American horror story.

Sopranos was definitely the best TV experience I've ever had. And I definitely would have said it's the best show ever, until trying to watch it again. Makes me wonder what it would be like for a Gen Z to watch it from the beginning.

They would hate it, until the Vito story develops, and then they would like it.

Lack of trannies though, so maybe 7/10.

I like clips from BB, but couldn’t get into the whole thing.

Me and my wife try and put movies on for mt kids from our childhoods, we often wonder why we lived those movies when we were young, because even our young kids wont watch them. Different times.

I tried showing my kiddo the Goonies.

Gen X didn't translate well into Gen Z.

I do not have an angel's sensibilities to vulgarity, but I was also pretty shocked at just how vulgar and innuendo-ridden that movie was, compared to my memories. I have no idea WTF my parents were thinking letting me and my sister watch it at the ages we were.
