My .308 is accurate and functions flawlessly.
Might need one in 5.56/223 in the future.
Wish they'd come out with one in a .22 Hornet
or .222 Remington.
I tossed the junk plastic stock on mine and bought a Boyd's custom. I had them install aluminum pillars and I watched the video and bedded/free floated the stock with the included epoxy. Super smooth action and best groups have been around 2" at 200 yards. I'm certain it's more precise than my accuracy has demonstrated. The one thing I don't like is the magazine to stock interface. One little plastic tab on the back of the mag that binds with a recess in the stock and action and a snap on front tab. Over time, Im pretty sure that little tab will wear off and require a new mag. May need to get the metal sleeve kit.
Setting up my friend's ruger american 243 showed great promise with the sig, underwood, and hornady ammo I tried. Under 1 MOA at 100...
Too bad I had to hammer the bolt back with a rubber mallet after every shot. Bolt lifted just fine, but it sure as heck wasn't coming back without a fight. Waiting for him to find the box so I can ship it back. I should send Ruger an invoice for the ammo I wasted trying to sight it in!
I like mine that I bought this summer except for the bolt rusting just sitting in a gun safe with no other guns having rust and in a dry climate. Feeding is adequate but not confidence inspiring and tends to bind occasionally.
Accuracy is pretty good though. I probably should have saved another$300 and got another t3x but wanted to give the Ruger a try.

I just sighted in a RAP in 6.5 Grendel last weekend. I mounted one of the new Sightron S1 scopes on it. I had a box of factory Hornady 123gr. SSTs that I figured I could use to get my on paper and close. I shot one 5-shot group into 1.2". Adjusted the scope up and proceeded to shoot the remainder of that box (15 shots) into a .93" group.
I had 20 rounds of ammo I loaded up to plink with my 6.5 Grendel Encore that was loaded with 120 grain A-Max bullets. I went down to the 300 yard bench and proceeded to ring the 6" gong with every shot, keeping the scope set on 4X.
I was also using my Form1 suppressor on it.
For the money that I have into that setup, it shoots way too good. I am pretty sure I can get it even better with a bit of load development.
