Who says it's old style? How many styles can a vest be made into? Talk about old style.......I still have a zip up reversible quilted one that's probably 35 years old. Yet the style isn't much different than the newer one. I've worn it zero times this year. My rifle tags start today. But my daughter has worn it about 1/2 dozen times in the last month and a half. She likes it better than the smaller one I got her, even though it's quite big on her.

what is wrong with liking to wear something functional rather than a wal-mart special or a piece of orange visqueen duct taped together ? more importantly, why do you care ?

I've thought about getting one of the Kryptek Vesuvius vest but at 100 bucks for just a vest I just can't bring myself to do it. Not when my 20 vest works well for me.

I grabbed one of the new digi-orange aglow vests this year. Nice fit/cut, fits like a glove also I like the stretch as well as how light it is for packing in. But after one season, it is already fuzzy just from the velcro strap sticking to the matierial. Im afraid it won't last as an every hunt vest. Also with as warm as our season was this year the stench that it has developed is something... reeeal special! Whew!
