Do you wear a bino harness in tree stand?

Yeah very basic elastic type harness. Makes them quick and accessible in the thick timber and swamps

I use a rick young harness. Many configurations, here in Missouri I sweat early on to much with a traditional harness.

I have a Marsupial with a range finder pouch, large pouch, thermacell holster and down under pouch. I pretty much stopped using a pack when whitetail hunting 90 percent of the time. If it can't fit in that setup, then I probably didn't need it in the first place. I keep a couple pieces of rubber coated tie wire on the straps and if I need I take it off and tie wire it to a limb or the stand if it would be in the way for a certain setup. I keep an extra release in the down under pouch in archery season so that I don't have to climb down when I drop it like I always do and rifle ammo in the ammo holder in that pouch in rifle season. Its really nice to have everything accessible without having to move around much in the stand. You have everything that you NEED with you all the time hunting, glassing, scouting, wherever you go. I also keep my phone in the pocket against your chest so that you can feel it or check it without moving much and licenses in a zipper pocket, so I don't have a wallet or anything in my pockets to forget or fall out changing layers.

I use a marsupial bino pouch with a kuiu cell phone pouch for my radio. Be careful if using a magnetic closure and carrying a compass in/near your bino pouch. I ruined a nice compass a few years ago by storing it in my chest rig.

Also can throw off smart watches with magnetic compass feature.

I wear a Rick young harness with a 6.5x binocular for hunting in the mountains and ag fields of SWVA. I’ve found the RYH to be easier to add/remove layers compared to my alps outdoors or other strap harnesses. I move it to the side or tighten it when still hunting to or from my stand. It doesn’t have thick straps that interfere with safety harnesses. It’s adjustable and relatively quiet. I keep my rangefinder in my cargo pocket.

Having binos in a strap when still hunting is very important to me. It allows me to slow down and. Break down terrain as it uncovers when I walk. When I’m in the stand, the binos are safer and have less movement than grabbing a rifle or binos from a hook.

sometimes i will wear the FHF chest rig but most of the time i have everything in my pack to easily grab when needed.

I do. Low light or brush it's nice to see what's coming or moving. Makes it easier for me to determine if it is a animal I'm going to try and shoot. Worth the extra hassle to me.

This. If I’m on my binos I am much more likely to see them in the thick stuff way before than without.
So I’m much more still and ready for a shot. For me where I hunt binos are not for long distance. My woods opens up in the late season but dang near jungle in the early part. 75-100 yards is a long distance.
Took me decades to figure this out.

I have my marsupial harness on everytime in the woods scouting or hunting. Having the rangefinder right there helps a lot bow hunting when a deer may come from a way you didn’t expect and have pre ranged.

I think you want the binos close by but don’t necessarily have to wear it. If you do choose to wear the bino harness make sure to practice shooting with it on
