Just like the title asks, do you tip your game processor and if so how much?
10, 15, 20% tip? It is a service after all and gratuity can go a long way. Just curious as to everyone's individual experiences.

It would be my own money, just out of a different pocket, so yeah -- But beer feels better.

If I have someone else do some work, I don't tip if he's an owner. He sets the rates so he gets paid.

I tip the poor bastard who works for him, who wrassled the huge buck I shot, out of the truck and onto the gambrel.

Yes. I usually tip the poor bastard at least a six'er of coors light.

I am my game processor.
This right here.

Due to various family issues I had to get up early before work Tuesday and get a buck all trimmed up so I could grind and package when I got home from work.

Cutting meat while drinking coffee instead of beer had me all out of sorts, I didn’t know if I was on foot or horseback.

What a gentleman 🤣
Haha! Yep. Well it wasn’t long ago that my youngest was talking about what all these high school girls nowadays do and don’t like… momma looked at him and said, “You need to talk to your dad and get some game.” He didn’t like that much.

Okay, okay. Don’t hi jack the thread… Tip the guys cutting and doing the meticulous work, not the boss setting the prices. We have a saying in our house, “The only thing worse than cutting meat, is not cutting meat.” It’s a lot of work, but worth it.

Yup totally get that, just curious to guage what most people tip.
I knew I'd get majority "I obviously butcher my own meat" replies. But unfortunately living in a small apartment, that's out of the question.
If my wife came home to elk quarters hanging over a tarp in our living room I'd be the one getting cut up.

I don't use a game processor, but no. Tipping has gotten out of control. Wait staff that brings me food that I ordered from them and drivers(work thing), that's it.
I agree tipping has gotten out of control in some scenarios like fast food, random retail transactions etc.
But, as I originally stated gratuity can go a long way. I've tipped my mechanic in pizzas after they comped an easy service and I will be forever in his good graces. I've tipped my plow driver and noticed a difference in quality of snow removal. I tip my barber, babysitters, and services where a personal relationship is formed not just a transaction. Many jobs are thankless and small things can go a long way.

I don't want to hijack your thread, but what are you paying to get your game processed? I think that would strongly influence my decision to tip or not. If I'm paying a premium, I don't usually feel compelled to add even more to the total cost.

Don't be so fast to wave the white flag.

Tell her "This is what all the other guys do" ---Gauge her reaction, but act like everything is under control, and take it from there ....

I’m insanely lucky. I just hung my quarters in a tree in front of the apartment then butchered them on the counter in said apartment. My wife was in full support of the whole deal.IMG_6699.jpegIMG_6703.jpeg
