DO NOT PURCHASE FROM AERO PRECISION

I'm sure that was strategic on their part. Your action was probably destined for someone else until they needed to overturn your chargeback.

This whole thing stinks.
That was probably the action I ordered on Dec 26. I am having the same exact experience with Aero Precision. I purchased their solus when Midway had it marked down and loved it so I ordered their long action, action and to this day no communication. I will never order from them or use their products ever again.

That sucks to hear. I’ve used their stuff and it’s been great for the price. But I’ve bought it from a local dealer and not direct. Thanks for the heads up.

I picked up the action from my FFL on Friday. Come to find out they didn’t send a barrel nut or wrench to install the barrel nut. Luckily I bought a shouldered prefit so I won’t need it. Otherwise I would never be able to get ahold of them to send me those.

FWIW, I was in discussion with one of their guys to test out their newer Lite action last year.

He ended up leaving the company due to issues with the management and is no longer associated with them.

It's a shame what is taking place over there. I have in the past ordered direct from them without any issues and I like their products. I have a Solus rifle I ordered from Midway and liked it so I ordered their long action. Let's hope they turn it around.

I ordered something in stock, received a confirmation, and then radio silence. I sent two emails about a month and a half and then two months after placing the order to ask for a status. After hearing nothing, I sent another stating if I did not get a response, I would cancel the credit card charge. A day later I received a shipping notice. It’s not that I minded a delay; the non-responsiveness is my issue. Not a good look for Aero at all because I will never again order something from them, nor will I buy any Aero products.

I bought a Lahar 30 last year. It’s a beautiful can. Does what I need it to. My apprehension is, if I need it to be serviced, I’m SOL. So here’s to no baffle strikes! All the bad press, I’ll send my money elsewhere from now on.

Sad to hear these issues. Wait times are kind of expected anymore with anything firearms, but lack of communication is unacceptable. I stopped at their booth at the hunt expo and really liked their actions. People working seemed great and very knowledgeable. Maybe some issues like carbon6 went through last year. 🤷‍♂️ hopefully they get it turned around

I need a 223 bolt for my solus. They are the only ones with one in stock. Definitely not ordering from them.

I had some guys order some things (advertised as in stock) from Aero to be shipped to me (FFL). It took over 3mo for the items to come in without any communication between buyer and Aero. Multiple attempts at emails, chats, and phone calls were made from buyer to Aero in those 3 months.
