Do I have a rough spot in my sizing die?

I've been using an rcbs FL bushing sizing die for my 300 Win mag to try out the sac bushings. I've been noticing that the cases appear scratched around the shoulder. It's a ring that goes all the way around the case. I've tried a couple different lubes in varying amounts and cleaned the die a couple times. All the brass has been once fired Norma from the same lot.

Do I need to try and polish it or is it something else maybe? TIA

Have you cleaned the die? They put a corrosion inhibitor on them that holds onto stuff.

I cleaned right when I got it and then 2 more times after.
