Do counterfeit slik tripods exist?

I got a screamin’ deal on a Slik Pro CF 634 on Ebay (New, $150) and it seems almost too good to be true. I’m wondering if I should be concerned about counterfeits?

I’m new to this game, but I’ve gotten counterfeit surefire lights from eBay before, so I thought I’d ask!
