Several tent manufacturers (Big Agnes, MSR, Mountainsmith etc) advertise being able to run the tent in a fast fly setup. Basically just the footprint poles and fly. Do any of you run them and have you installed a stove pipe?

Thanks!

I use my Hille Soulo without the inner anytime it's not late season, love it and saves some good weight, but can still stand up to some massive winds if t-storms roll through. No room for a stove though, being a 1-man, but you can get someone to put a stove jack in almost anything.

My old tent ( NF Rock 22) used it for years with fly/foorprint. Now use an MSR hubba hubba NX with fly and footprint only.

both are 2P tents and are very roomy without the tent body. I really like the ease of setup and not needing to use a trekking pole.

Never ran a stove in either. When I use a tent in this configuration, usually solo and trying to minimize weight/pack space.
