Diy stove tent??

I'm going to attempt taking an old tent and turning into into a floor less stove tent figured i have plenty old tent that are not being using anymore. Why not! Anyone done this before? Hit me with the tips!

No reason you can't do it. Might not even need to remove the floor. You can put a piece of welders blanket under the stove to protect the floor. This all assumes you aren't backpacking in.

You can buy pre-made stove jacks to just sew in. I believe bear paw is a brand. I was cheap and made my own by impregnating fiberglass cloth with 100% silicone out of a tube. Works like a champ.
