Diy Kuiu upland belt

Took a Kuiu ultra belt strapped a few 5.11 bags to it and wha! la! the best upland best ever! I will post a few photos this evening.

50oz water bottle. Shell pocket on the right (holds 50 rounds easy) spent shells/misc pocket left. Middle misc pocket rear. Drop pouches for bird bags. Carriers weight really well and is super comfortable. It’s more 511 than Kuiu at this point but I dig it! Let me know what you think.

I really like the idea of making one of these since the rear pouch on my cheapo Big 5 bird vest has ripped a few times going through brush. I also shoot better without having the weight of a vest hindering my movements. Have you used yet on a hunt?

Yes i have. I LOVE it! Kuiu is having a killer sale right too.

If somebody wants to do this set up I have an older icon pro belt and old style pockets that I would let go. Belt has some wear and a small tear on the bottom of the belt that is covered by the pocket. Tried to get it warrantied by KUIU since I bought it from them but they had no record of me buying it from them so I had to buy a new pro suspension out of my pocket. I also have the new pro shoulder straps since I use the Apex shoulder straps.
