I have been wanting to make a pack similar to the Stryker XL for my Exo K3 frame. I have the frame as short as it will go without the frame extensions, which ends up about 23". That's a perfect frame height for me and my 21" torso for whitetail hunting.
I used tan 499 color 500d Cordura. The pack ended up a little bigger than I wanted but I will probably like the extra room for late season when extra layers get bulky.
Main pack dimensions are 21" x 11" x 8
I wanted to ommit the Pals webbing so I just put tab loops all over. Not sure that I like the end result but I'll test it out and see how it goes.
This was my first attempt at side pockets, again not super thrilled with the end result but I think I have a good pattern for the next pack.
I decided to forego the edge binding since I will probably make another one, and I don't really care how pretty it is.
