Hello, new to Rokslide and need to get my 10 posts in. Thought I'd share some things I've been working on. Prepping for a 2 month cross country hunting trip next fall and have been making cases for everything once I started looking at how expensive cases are. I don't fly since the pup comes with me everywhere, so these are for getting tossed in the back of the truck. So far I've made 3 gun cases, bow case, 2 ammunition boxes, and a box for my spotter. Nice to be able to toss everything in the van with my tools and other stuff and not worry about my bow or guns.
Foam is pick and peel foam from foam factory
plywood is 1/2 acx.
finished with leftover poly or tung oil
I punch the name of the gun or round and then just used a ballpoint pen to mark it.

Up next is sewing a upland vest and then starting on a flatbedding my truck and building a camper.

Those look really nice. How much did they cost to build, material-wise?
Thanks, I think those sheets are $80ish, and I spent $100 on foam which could probably make 10 gun cases. Probably around 3-4 gun cases/ sheet. The hardware is just bulk cheap stainless hardware. The rope is just leftover prusik cord. So maybe $40/gun case.
