DIY 2D Deer Target

I have been shooting at much further distances this year after buying a canyon pounder sight. I wanted a target to better evaluate what hits would actually look like to get a more realistic idea of my effective range. The dead nuts targets are super cool but for $99, I was out. I knocked this guy out for $0 and slapped a down and dirty spray paint paint job on it.

Looks good. I agree with you on target prices, I would rather spend the money on arrows.

looks good. ive done this many times before i bought a 3d target. i found a like new deer 3d target for $25 on facebook marketplace...

I have shot the hek out of this thing and left it outside. Helps that it hasn't rained in months. It is so much easier to shoot at long range than a spot.
