Ditty Bags or Pull Outs

I have some REI ditty bags I use. $12 for a 3 pack. All different colors so it’s easy to remember what you have in each one. I also have some ultralight sacks from peregrine that I use as well. I got those at Bob Ward cheap on closeout. I also use Ziplocs as well.

Fhf gear just made some recently that kind of have a more of a cube shape to them. Different than your typical bag. Sm- Xl And 2 of each smaller fits into the next size up. Kinda an interesting spin on something that everyone is already doing. I havent heard anyone mention them and have no experience with them but they look to be of good quality.

I made a few out of some silnylon scraps. Ordered different colors of zippers online to tell them apart.
Those look great and the different colored zippers are a great idea. Unfortunately I do not have the skills to make those, nor the skills for much.

So, these aren't measured, nor are they symmetrical, even, or good. I asked the girlfriend for a rundown on the sewing machine, and started making (well, sewing, not necessarily creating) crap.

The key is, I use basting spray (glue) to stick stuff together, and sew everything inside out. Then, turn it rightside out, and presto, looks like I know what I'm doing.

You must be near Laramie, I'm in ft Collins. If you want to make the trip, I'd be happy to show you just how little I know. Bring bandaids and burbon.

Mystery ranch has some in 2 sizes. I have both and they repel water well. Zipper is offset and they aren’t round like a cylinder. More shaped like a 3D triangular prism or think of a toblerone chocolate package. Easy to get into.
