I'm getting ready to send my Sauer 100 to Kampfeld for cutting and threading. I'm removing as many parts a possible to prevent possible shipping damage. There is a wire metal bracket (not sure of the real name) on the bottom of the action. Looks like it is held in place with a coiled spring pin. Can anyone verify that if I tap out the coil pin can it be removed easily? Would hate for it to get bent in shipping as I would never find a replacement. Thanks in advance!

I am really debating if I want to cut my 6.5 cm sauer down to 18 inches. I run it suppressed is the main reason why. Was everything elese easy to remove? Like the trigger

Karl ask for as much to be removed as possible so I took off the stock and trigger as well. The stock comes off with the two action screws and then you have to remove a nut with a socket. The trigger was two screws as well with loctite. Came off easy. I could not get the wire bar off the bottom of the action. The coil pin moved easy at first then got stuck. Hopefully, Karl can get it set back in place. If I did it again I wouldn't try to take out the wire and would just pack it really well.

I'm getting mine cut to 16.5" for an Airlock 7mm that I ordered. Excited to give it a try!
