I just looked it up on google earth.
Looks like it was about 500 yards distance.
Scope set to 45 - 50 X magnification.

No, I would not think they went together.
The funny thing is I have been frequenting this area for many, many years, and there are lots of bucks that come back, year after year.
There are several that I have watched for up to 6 years in a row.
This buck does not usually look like this. I have no idea what happened, but this year something went crazy.
