Both CAs I have experience with are honest 1-1.5" 10 shot guns. 1 is my 270 WSM, the other is a buddy's 300 WM FFT.

I'll continue to buy them with zero hesitation.

One thing that should be considered is the sheer volume of rifles CA sells compared to other brands. Bound to be a few duds. For true issues like poor machining, chamber tolerances, etc. yeah QC should be better...but I'm willing to bet over half of the "it don't shoot for shit" claims have more to do with the shooter than the gun.

300 PRC mesa FFT with Leupold vx5-hd scope. Got it mid October sent it in for repairs a week later when I got the eldx, match, and outfitter 5 shot hundred yards groups. Sent end of October. Received mid February. Same issue. Yes I tried other shooters, taking off and re leveling scope, barrel break in procedure was followed, etc. First time I sent in it had ejector marks on casings intermittently and stubborn bolt occasionally. This time none of that but can't seem to group. Today I Reached out on email to see if a tech can speak to me if I'm missing something before sending it in a second time.
Had a buddy with a 300 win doing the same thing. Qc is bad as of recently, definitely not worth the price tag of these rifles.

My Ridgeline in 300WM is a tack driver! And so is my 6.5 Creedmoor MPR!

I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another!

My CA traverse 6.5 prc is a legit 10 shot MOA grouper. I shoot the 147 Eldm factory ammo.
