But you can’t run an AT&T sim and a Verizon sim in the same phone though, correct?

Yes, that’s what I started out doing first. I was told Verizon had a better signal which I found out not to be true now I’ve got a T-Mobile Sim card in my AT&T iPhone. And I can see which one has a better signal at a glance.

I've been looking into doing exactly this with AT&T and Verizon. When I travel to Nevada and Alaska Verizon doesn't do well there but AT&T is OK. At our Idaho elk camp Verizon works, AT&T doesn't.

I'm OK with getting and installing a dual sim tray but kinda foggy on the tech details and vocabulary when it comes to buying the service. Does anybody know the exact procedure to use dual sim in an unlocked One+ 7T and use both Verizon CDMA and AT&T GSM networks? Customer service reps just blow answers out their butt like it's 2 week old taco bell leftovers.

So you’re saying you’re switching the Sims cards in and out of the side of your phone?

The iPhone X‘s and newer the sims cards stay in your phone so just tap which carrier you want to use.

Awesome!

That’s what I’m looking to do this fall because where I hunt in Kansas AT&T is no bueno, but Verizon gets LTE. In years past I’ve just picked up a cheapo “burner” Verizon phone because my old AT&T phones wouldn’t work with Verizon towers. I’d like to have it all on one phone because I already bring way too much stuff with me to begin with. Guess I’ll be picking up a new phone before my trip in November now.
