Have good luck with duct tape, on put some king of lotion or neosporin on the how spot or blister itelf so the tape does not stick to it!

I torched my heels one spring turkey season when I got my feet wet, honestly wasn't sure I would be able to continue hunting, little neo and duct tape and finished the hunt without issue.

I have had no issues with lukotape whether new or old. I put some on my compound bow grip to stop my hand from slipping maybe 8 years ago and it is still there doing what I wanted it to do.

That’s fine. Once applied it stays on virtually forever, but the roll itself doesn’t last that long before the adhesive bleeds through. Then it acts like double sided tape.

Just checked a very old roll and you are 100% correct, thanks for the info.

I keep an old 1/4 roll in my pack. It's probably 8 years old and kind of beat up, but it still works fine just like a new roll. I haven't seen any bleeding of color or adhesive.

There must be variances in brand. What brand is that? I keep buying the same roll off my Amazon history and they keep bleeding glue through after a year or two. Mine is almost as sticky on the top side of the tap as it is the bottom.

Long story short, I borrowed a friends tape because mine wasn’t handy. It was sticking to my sock as you described so I went to pull it off my toe and the skin went with it. I them favored that toe for 1.5 days, including an elk pack out, and that caused my ankle to get sore for over a week.

This is the tape I have used for two-three years without issue. It will stay on my feet for 10 days and never bleed into the sock.

It's all the Leukotape P from Amazon, says "Leuko" inside the roll: https://www.amazon.com/BSN-Medical-BEI076168-Leukotape-Sports/dp/B07KB5KSB2. I have two new in the box rolls, the one that stays in my pack, and another 1/2 roll that I normally use. They're all the same, and no stickiness on the outside.

Maybe it's humidity that causes the problems.......we don't have to deal with that here. ;)

You have to put it on dry with zero moisture on the foot. When i put it on my heel I always lift my toes and foot upwards to get rid of the wrinkles on my heel. Rub in the corners and let it completely adhere before you put your socks on. I don’t take it off until I’m home and fresh out of a shower and it comes right off. I’ve had it last perfectly for 11 days. It might stick to my socks but that’s better than ruining a hunt over blisters. Socks are 20 bucks. Hunts are priceless. If leukotape doesn’t work, you’re doing it wrong
