I'm currently working with @pods8 to build a custom pack. It's basically a combo of a number of MR packs and features. I need to provide him with a fairly detailed sketch so he can get to work. I've done some shelter design in Sketchup, but I'm wondering if anyone more proficient in other programs would be willing to take this on? Maybe you have some extra time on your hands? I do have a basic sketch and description that should help you get to work. I'm also looking into using someone on Fiverr.com. Shoot me a PM if you want to get an idea of what I have in mind!
You don't need to go to that detail (sketchup model). I just need a sketch with general dimensions/features to quote, we can refine placement of stuff from there. Below is an example sketch of baseline detail for primary conversation (can lock in strap vertical placements, lengths, etc. later).
I ask for a general sketch these days because I've lean on time (both to sew and respond to inquiries) and I get folks asking me for stuff (not talking you specifically) like "I want a 50L pack with x, y, z feature", volume statements are so variable based on how manufacturer's measure stuff so I want LxWxH dimensions, sometimes they haven't considered if all the features they want incorporated actually work together so I want them to stop and sketch and flush those issues out in their own head, etc.
