Defiance Tenacity scope clearance

Well it happened to me. Not my first Tenacity, but it’s my first SA that I’m trying to mount a NF SHV 3-10x42 onto. Damn bolt handle hits the scope’s mag ring. So annoying. It’s not close either, it’s in the way by a lot! I don’t want to use high rings for a 42mm scope and I already own this one. It’s what I want to use. Seems I remember reading Defiance had a fix for this. Anyone have this issue and what did you do to fix it?

Without pics I'd say it sounds like tweaking the bolt handle should be an idea to consider.

This concern is why I have decided to go with a Terminus Zeus for my next build. The more I cycle the bolts on my Remington 700 rifles I think I would like the extra room of a 60 degree bolt throw.
