Deep Freezer Backup

Any of y’all have one of those alarms for your deep freezer so that if the temp gets higher than like 32 degrees it starts beeping??

Yeah I have a YoLink setup, also works great for tossing one in my incubator when I'm hatching eggs. I have the alarms set to around 10 degrees though, if my freezers get above 10 something's wrong.

I have a Govee thermometer for both my freezers and they work great. Kind of cool to track how cold they are as well.

Only time it ever gave me a notification was when I put a pan of hotdish that was warmer than I thought the freezer. The alert threshold was set to 20 degrees. Good to know that it worked.

YoLink works great for our freezers, refrigerator, cold room monitoring temps. We also monitor for in the house water leaks with it.

I have Mocreo that alerts my phone. The beeping doesn't really do you any good if you're gone, vacation, etc.

Deleted my previous post after looking at the app on my phone. Its MOCREO. It notifies me via app notification and sends an email if the temp gets too high, looses wifi signal or power. I really like it.
