I would say that Price tends to be shorter distance on average, 350-550, I'd have to check my notes to get a proper average. Shadows there can make spotting tough, but the dust may make up for the smaller signature from the 223

Not stupid at all
I'm running a 223 Wylde for PRS tactical division and it's very competitive, the targets beyond 1000 yards get pretty sporty but it makes you really good at wind calls

The only issue with 223 for nrl hunter is the giant animal size steel targets they use generally won’t show much when hit by a 223.
