This morning is -6 after a medium snowfall. With no wind and squeaky snow, we opted for a day off. My grandson has a sinus headache and my son is in transision on his diabetis medicine. His blood sugar is only 60. I think a day off is in order.

We went the next day at -4 and took a while to get my grandson (12) up to snuff. Initially he was in tears but then we got him into mitts, heaters in his boots and on the horse. By the end of the day he was smiling, had seen a cow elk and had a better understanding of how he controls his own comfort and how. Just part of growing up and marturing. His father and I are just teachers in his path to the future.
