Wind and Antelope Movement Patterns

Hey guys,

Curious how much you all factor wind direction into antelope setups. Do you see them consistently using wind to bed or travel, or are they more focused on visibility and pressure?

Absolutely focused on Visibility. Staying out of sight is the number one thing hunting them. Antelope have good hearing and sense of smell but depend on their eyes as their number one sense. As far as trying to predict movement ,You may as well try to understand the mind of a woman. Antelope just do what they do, The only thing that can be predicted is they water usually twice a day morning and evening. Depending on where they are located that could be a regular dugout/pond. If in a spot with a river or lots of water it will be variable as well. Antelope smell as well as other big game. During the rut , does may scent and bust you but Bucks seem mostly oblivious to your scent.
