Question regarding timeline. I notice expected ship is end of March, is that what’s expected? I understand we are at the mercy of PBB timeline on this.

I may be relocating, I left a note on my order, but I’m just curious to so I keep it in mind moving forward.

Yes, at PBB mercy. They have been inside 10 weeks for me, so end of March is the timeline on the outside that I expect if ordered December 12.

Their website says 10-12 weeks. When I talked about the presales, they said still within that lead time.

I expect them sooner, but don’t count on it. Under promise over deliver is my mantra.

The 6 UM 40 is for when you thought you drew a really good elk tag. You pass up some 200 yard chip shots on bulls way bigger than you've ever shot thinking you'll see bulls every day. And you'll find bigger. But you don't. Then you go a few days of not seeing a single elk and you get a chance at a mid tier 200" bull at 905. And want to dump him in his tracks. That was my use case for it this year. One shot behind the shoulder and he was dead.
My buddy came in with horses the next day and was amazed I killed him with a single shot. Let alone the 6mm from so far. They use magnums and heavy bullets. Usually takes them three shots.

Brass availability and dies is good. Fire forming really isn't that bad. It was a lot of fun. Though there is a little more cost to get started on a UM.

The 6 UM will do 3150'ish-3300 fps depending on barrel length and lot of n570 With a 115 grainer.

Barrel life is about 700 rounds. Which could last years of hunting with a trainer rifle.

It's probably overkill for most things. Honestly my 22 creed will do 90% of what I need. But the extra speed and wind resistance is nice.

I thought 22 arc would be better seller myself. But, numbers don’t lie… gonna lose money getting rid of the 22 arc mini barrels.

Fireform and handload bullets in 223ai, or do the same in 22arc, but have factory ammo available? Kinda no brainer to me.

I’ve got a 223 bolt. But don’t have an arc bolt so that’s why I went with 223 ai

You need a magnum magazine M+ is for standard cartridges
The L mags work as do the wsm but not at 2.90 you can run 2.850 in the wsm mag

Really interested in ordering a 6um, but what would be an “easy” way to solve mag length? Seems like you really would want about 50 tho more than a tikka mags offers
